Making a Difference!
At the back of Eden Hill hostel in the courtyard there were some old buildings that have now been converted into premises for the church. This is a two-storey building. The church meet down stairs and upstairs there is a small kitchen, toilets and large area for youth work or any other activities. A smaller building in the courtyard has been converted into rooms for children's work and crèche facilities.
We are a group of ordinary people from every walk of life, every age group and many varying nationalities.

Eden Hill Hostel is a beautiful Victorian House sitting on the hillside over looking Sligo town, in the West of Ireland. It is in this place that the Lord has established the Sligo Elim Pentecostal Church. Sligo Elim Church was started over 20 years ago. For many years the church rented different properties within the town, until in 2001 through many miracles it was finally able to purchase its own property, a very run down hostel . This is the first time in the history of the town that an Elim Church has been able to purchase its own property. To-day the main house has been renovated into a back packer’s holiday hostel and is run as an outreach project from the church.

What can you get involved in?
There are many groups within the church-worship, prayer, youth, children's work, mission teams to India, Philippines, Albania etc. Church cleaning, hostel committee, home groups, ministry, giving and many more.
