Your Saviour - Jesus Christ

It's commonly known that Jesus of Nazareth was born on Christmas Day and died during Easter but do you know that the bible tells us of a Jesus that not only died but did it for you, me and the whole world. He is also the son of God. Jesus' ministry on earth is recorded in the first four books of the new testament. These books are called the gospels. They are four men's account of the life of Jesus. Today the legacy of Jesus through the bible is not only relevant but alive and breathing in the lives of many people.

Jesus loves you and knows you. Jesus loves you, and His love is constant. His love can change your life. It is not dependent on you, and how you feel about yourself, but upon His relationship with His Father. "I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love".
John 15:9 (NLV)
It's so amazing to know that God knows everything about you and God still loves you. No matter what you have done, no matter where you have been God is able to take you from your current circumstances - all you have to do is ask Him.

By grace you are saved. Many people don't realise that Jesus was sent to this earth by God as a scarifice for our sins. When the Romans crucified Jesus on the Cross of Calvary they fulfilled the purpose for which Jesus was sent to earth. The blood of Jesus was spilt so that you and I might be saved on earth and given eternal life. We are saved by believing that Jesus's was the son of God and that his death can cleanse us of all our sins. God's grace is there to set us free - all we have to do is accept Him.

Jesus uses all sorts of people. Some of the greatest people in the bible were just like you and me. The only difference was that they were willing to be used by Jesus. If you are willing Jesus can enable you to maximise your talents and realise new ones. For God loves each and every one of us and can change our lives forever - all we have to do is let Him.

God can change our circumstances. One of the major builders of the Christian Church in the New Testament was a man named Paul. Prior to being saved Paul was called Saul. Saul was esteemed by the Jewish authoritirs He was authorised to seek out the disciples of Christ and neutralise them. On the road to Damacaus Jesus revealed himself to Saul, blinded him and sent him to a disciple, Ananias. Ananias layed his hands on Saul, and his sight was restored. Immediately Saul was freed from his the burden of his former life. Saul was immediately born again in the spirit and became one of the greatest teachers in the history of the Church. Jesus can transform us, and change us forever - all we have to do is Receive Him.

The enemy wants you to believe your on your own. The fact is that there's forces at work in the world which are telling you that you're not loved; that you're not precious; that you're alone; that you're guilty. In the bible everyone of these false accusations are refuted. The enemy is lying and that's the only weapon that the enemy has against you. Don't be fooled into disbelief ... the truth wil set you free - all you have to do is believe.

Unlocking the Key.....

A life in the light is open to you when you confess your faith. Romans 10:9 says,
"For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."NLV

To experience a life changing event you need to believe, confess and receive.
The following prayer is an example.

Heavenly Father I recognise that I am a sinner.
I am sorry for all my sins.
I recognise that Jesus died on the Cross because of my sins,
that God raised Him from the dead, and He lives today.
By the power of the Holy Spirit I ask Jesus to come into my heart and make His home there.
Lord Jesus Christ I believe in my heart that you can change me and I want to change.
From this day forward be Lord of my life.
Heavenly Father I thank you for your amazing love.
In Jesus mighty name, Amen.
